When I take a fiber art workshop, I'm looking for something that makes a technique or concept come alive and encourages students to do work that is individual and authentic. That philosophy frames how I design what I teach, as well. In most of my workshops, the focus is more on process than on product. Even when a class is built around a project, my goal is to provide tools and inspiration that help students explore as far as they wish to go.
